How to ramp the high voltage
Ramp detector HV
ramp Detector HV up:
1) check that HV on ISEG is ramped up to 500V; IF NOT, RAMP UP (SEE BELOW)
2) ramp up detector HV:
in workspace “Apfel+HV” find terminal Ramp HV:
agmaas@prima-daq1:~/repo/hv_control$ python3 ramp_hv.py -f /data/data_raid/prima_may_25/hv_scan_2/ -x /home/agmaas/Data/beamtime_May2025/hv/exclude_channels.dat -id all -off 0
2b) if half of submodule 32 needs to be ramped down, use the alternative exclude file:
agmaas@prima-daq1:~/repo/hv_control$ python3 ramp_hv.py -f /data/data_raid/prima_may_25/hv_scan_2/ -x /home/agmaas/Data/beamtime_May2025/hv/exclude_channels_sub32high_off.dat -id all -off 0
ramp Detector HV down:
1) ramp down HV on APDs
agmaas@prima-daq1:~/repo/hv_control$ python3 ramp_hv.py -val 0 -id all
if the last line of the output is a 1 repeatedly, you can stop the terminal “Crt+c”

Ramp ISEG HV
ramp pre-HV (ISEG) up:
1) check that detector hv is off
2) use web interface (tab should be open in firefox already)
IF NOT: http://hadanapc2:8081/dcs/iseg-hv
3) for modules 5 to 9, click checkbox “select all” and click “switch all <on/off>”
