Target control

1. beam off
2. move target
3. beam on with desired current → ELOG entry

The app for the target camera is on the PC on front of the racks (a1analyse).
The camera should only be turned on when the beam is off or to look at the beam position on the luminescent screen (Al203).
A blue window is open (“MPlayer”). Click on it and press “c” to turn the camera on or off.
When the beam is positioned on the luminescent screen take a photo: press “p”; this automatically generates an ELOG entry in the A1 ELOG (open on the same computer).

• beam off
• go to computer control1
• find a terminal “mezzo”
• move target with “go_target”
• check target position with “where_target”
• for optimization in A1 hall: empty target

if target ladder is not moving, restart the target ladder control:

$ ssh root@control5
$ /etc/init.d/mezzofe restart
$ exit
