1) check that HV on ISEG is ramped up to 500V; IF NOT, RAMP UP (SEE BELOW)

2) ramp up detector HV:

in workspace “Apfel+HV” find terminal Ramp HV:

1) ramp down HV on APDs

agmaas@prima-daq1:~/repo/hv_control$ python3 ramp_hv.py -val 0 -x /home/agmaas/Data/beamtime_Feb2025/hv/exclude_channels.dat -id all

if the last line of the output is a 1 repeatedly, you can stop the terminal “Crt+c”
